Cue theme song

Sam ran his hands through the thick mass of hair he now possessed as he wobbled unsteadily down the hallway. Who the fuck was he this time? Whoever he was in had had quite a night. Her head pounded and her eyes ached with a hangover. She was wearing some guy’s button down shirt she hadn’t even bothered to button down, and stockings on her legs.
Theorizing that one could time travel within their own lifetime, Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the quantum leap accelerator and vanished. He woke to find himself trapped in the past, facing mirror images that were not his own, and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better.
“God, I can’t let Al see me like this,” he thought to himself as he stumbled through the huge house to try to find a bathroom.
Al was an observer from Sam’s own time,a hologram only Sam could see and hear as he found himself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping each time that the next leap would be the leap home.
He reached the bathroom, flipped on the light and looked into the mirror.
“Oh boy…” he whispered to himself as he saw the stunning image of the woman he’d become.
He recognized her. She was a younger version of the mega-rock star who’d flamed out on drugs when Sam was a little girl. Already, Sam could feel the grip of some addiction calling to him. Money and fame weren’t going to be easy. But judging by how his thighs still ached from some unknown lover last night, this body might be.
