Wedding jitters

“There you are. What are you doing?”
Seth paused and looked at Trinity’s maid of honor., Seth’s hands were on the window frame. He’d been checking to see if they could open enough for him to slip out.
“Just, uh, getting some air,” he said, flicking Trinity’s hair out of his eyes.
“Well, come on back. We have to finish getting you into your wedding dress.”
Seth and Trinity were only supposed to swap bodies for one night. Trinity had claimed she wanted one last night to do whatever she wanted. Apparently, whatever she wanted was to run away. She’d sent him a text:
sorry i can’t do it. i know you’ll understand
Oh, he understood. She’d gotten cold feet but left Seth trapped in her body. She stopped responding to her messages and then her family had whisked him away to the church. How could he explain what had happened?
Trinity’s maid of honor guided him back to the room and they fitted the veil and the train on. He was going to have to go through with this. Walk down the aisle. Say Trinity’s vows. Kiss her husband. All in front of friends and family he hardly knew.
Seth just hoped to make it through the wedding and the party. There would be time afterwards to chase his old body down and make Trinity give it back. He couldn’t ruin her life in the meantime for fear that it would give her yet another excuse not to come back.
He stared at the beautiful woman in the mirror. At himself. Hopefully he would find a way out of her body and back to his own before he had to do anything with his new husband.

  1. After the reception, still in her female friend’s body, reality set in. The new groom was waiting to indulge in sex with his new bride. Faced with the reality she was going to remain female, she gave in to her urges. The next morning, she realized the sex just might be worth it all!
