\u201cGot\nto be quick,\u201d he said quietly. \u201cThere\u2019s a bossy woman with dark\nbrown hair and a giant pink rolex asking if I\u2019m going to yoga. Am I\nsupposed to go?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo,\ndon\u2019t do yoga. It\u2019s full of people I know. And all they do in\nthat class, is gossip. They\u2019ll know something is up.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShould\nI just leave then?\u201d Evan asked. \u201cRun past the woman before she\ntries to twist my arm some more?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo,\u201d\nMrs. Slattery said thoughtfully. \u201cShe\u2019s Deb Klein, the wife of\none of Marcus\u2019s biggest clients. I don\u2019t want to risk her seeing\nyou sneaking past and feeling insulted.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat\nthen?\u201d he pressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust\nlay low until yoga starts.\u201d Her voice brightened as an idea clearly\ncame to her. \u201cHit the showers; she won’t follow you in there.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe\nwhat?\u201d he yelped. She wasn\u2019t honestly suggesting he take her body\ninto the shower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But\nMrs. Slattery just ignored his squeaky question and was already\nrambling off a plan, \u201cTake a shower and change. By the time you\ncome out, she\u2019ll be safely ensconced in the yoga room.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nlocker room was more of a spa than the basic gym locker room Evan\nexpected. White and gray marbled floors gave way to sleek, wooden\nshelves. Everything was pristine and shiny. Evan grabbed a warm towel\nfrom the rack and then dropped his bag into a polished oak locker\nthat looked brand new. He slipped out of his shoes and padded on\ndainty feet towards one of the shower stalls, his heart hammering in\nhis chest with excitement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nstalls, like the rest of the room, were impressive: full size\nenclosures with floor to ceiling doors. Each one less a stall than a\nroom of its own. Again, each was pristine and included some tiny\nbottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evan\ngrasped his top, took a deep breath, and peeled it off.
