“Come on, stop sulking and get back to training,” Emily called out to her coach, Marco.
He was in her body, his feet in the hot tub. He turned and gave her a look of disdain.
“I don’t want to do this,” he complained. I can’t get the hang of your arms and legs. The movements are all wrong. And I feel so exposed.”
“Well, maybe don’t wear such a revealing swimsuit next time. Come on, you’ve got to keep my body in shape. Whenever this swap gets sorted out I’m going to need to be ready to race.”
Emily and Marco had been training at the downtown pool when they were caught in the blast of a mind bomb. Mind bombs left no physical damage but had the effect of randomly swapping the bodies of everyone within a certain radius. The government was still figuring out how to get people back to their right bodies. In the meantime, Emily needed to cajole her coach into keeping up her fitness.
Marco finally pushed himself to his feet. This body felt so out of proportion. It was hard to synchronize his hips and his breasts and his legs and arms. He dug the swimsuit out of the crack of his ass – aware that he was touching his protege’s butt – and came around the pool to join Emily.
He wanted to coach her, not be her, dammit. Now he was in the awkward position of having to exercise her body while still coaching her in his. Though it was more to keep their minds occupied than something that would be of any use. If Marco’s body was any indication, Emily would also be having a hard time coordinating herself. This swap back couldn’t happen soon enough.<\/p>\n\n\n
