“Oh god! Oh god!” Robin cried as he brought his hands up to his head and grabbed at the silky hair.
One minute he’d been sitting at the stoplight, admiring the woman with the copper-colored hair in the car next to him and the next thing he knew he was her.
His brow furrowed and his lower lip trembled with as he felt the smooth features of his face, the little ring in his nose, the billowy dress, and the tight curves he now possessed. Looking over at the car where he used to sit, Robin saw his own body in a similar state of surprise and dismay.
The two had been victims of the Great Shift and now Robin found himself in a stranger’s body. He was one of the lucky ones that survived the chaos of the day unscathed. Though he did have a lot to learn.
Robin and the woman, whose name was Martina, sat in Robin’s car and listened to the radio describe the massive chaos from the fallout of the Great Shift that was sweeping the globe.
“Maybe this is just temporary,” Robin said hopefully. His new voice was light and airy. His new body was so much smaller and lighter. And\u2026he was hot.
It was a thought that only began to come to the surface once the initial shock had worn off. But soon Robin found himself looking for an excuse to get away from Martina and check out his new body. After all, if he was going to be stuck in it he may as well get used to it. And no time like the present.<\/p>\n\n\n
